Welcome to our Farm
We're delighted to have you visit Mulberry Acres, where we grow Daylilies, Irises, Peonies, fresh blueberries and blackberries, and harvest native North Alabama plants for our enjoyment and yours.
Featured/Available Daylilies
These Daylilies are in stock and ready to go, whether you want to swing by and pick them up or you'd like us to ship them to you as bare roots. Carefully nurtured in our own greenhouse and gardens, we feature quality plants and expert advice to go with them. Daylilies are a gardener's dream—reliable, colorful, and nearly impossible to kill. Each bloom lasts just one day, but plants produce dozens of flowers throughout the season, giving you weeks of continuous color from spring through fall. Available in nearly every hue imaginable, from soft pastels to bold jewel tones, daylilies work beautifully in borders, containers, and landscape beds.
These hardy perennials thrive in full sun to part shade and adapt to most soil types. Once established, they're drought-tolerant and require minimal maintenance—just deadhead spent flowers and cut back foliage in late fall. Daylilies multiply over time, making them an economical choice that rewards you year after year with more blooms and fuller clumps.
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, daylilies deliver reliable performance and stunning seasonal interest with virtually no fuss.

Featured/Available Irises
These Irises are in stock and ready to brighten your garden! Irises are among the most elegant and versatile perennials for any garden. With their distinctive sword-like foliage and striking blooms in shades of purple, blue, yellow, white, and bi-color combinations, irises bring architectural interest and sophisticated color to borders, rock gardens, and water features.
These hardy plants thrive in well-drained soil and full sun, making them ideal for challenging spots where other perennials struggle. Irises bloom in spring and early summer, extending your garden's season of interest. They're low-maintenance once established, require minimal fertilizing, and naturally resist pests and diseases.
Whether you're drawn to the classic bearded iris, the delicate Japanese iris, or the moisture-loving Siberian varieties, we offer premium selections bred for vigor and longevity. Many of our iris cultivars are award-winning and proven performers across diverse climates.
Plant irises in fall or early spring for best results. Divide established clumps every three to four years to maintain vigor and encourage fuller blooms. Pair them with complementary perennials like daylilies, peonies, and ornamental grasses for a layered, garden-room effect.
